Quality Control BioAssay Analyst

Responsibilities:

The position responsibilities include but are not limited to: The performance of cell-based potency bioassays, ELISA and protein quantification using BCA method for in-process, development, stability and final product release samples. The maintenance of an active tissue culture lab including cell line maintenance, reagent preparation and inventory control. General Laboratory duties including sample receipt/storage, equipment and instrument monitoring and maintenance. The use of controlled forms including worksheets, Standard Operating Procedure authorship and modification and report writing.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years experience in cGMP environment performing tissue culture, bioassay and ELISA techniques. Prior knowledge of QC documentation such as trend reports, out of tolerance, out of specification, deviation reporting and the use, authorship and modification of standard operating procedure. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Prior experience with REES monitoring systems and method/analytical validation activities preferred. Will consider candidates with a Research background. BS/MS in applicable discipline or 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
